The cottages are self-contained, fully equipped to the highest standard for the ultimate comfort and convenience.

Sleeping from two to six, our accommodation is situated right at the heart of the country house and estate and provides a home-from-home stay with an unforgettable difference.

Summer Season

In the summer, we offer great value mid-week breaks to our guests. You can come and stay for 3 nights from Monday to Wednesday at extra special rates!  Whether it’s for a walk in Dovedale, a trip to Chatsworth or thrills at Alton Towers, our cottages are the perfect base from which to enjoy a short, summer break in and around Derbyshire.

The cottages are generally fully booked at weekends during the summer as part of our wedding packages. However, we do have an occasional availability – so please keep an eye out!

Winter Warmers

There’s nothing better than a break away in a cosy cottage in the winter and a visit to the wonderful Derbyshire countryside.  We offer a warm welcome to guests who fancy short breaks or weekends away at this special time of year.  On the doorstep are great walks, fab country pubs and fantastic places to eat.

We also offer weekly, or longer, stays during the winter.  Please note that we only take weekly bookings at Christmas and New Year.

One of our cottages – Yew Tree – is located in the former laundry of the main house and boasts a delightful, cosy cottage feel.

West Wing is the largest of the cottages sleeping six and is situated in the former servants’ quarters. This accommodation blends original features – such as a beautiful quarry tile hall, meat hooks in the ceiling and an unusual servants’ bell – with an impressive fitted kitchen, a gorgeous family bathroom and modern soft furnishings throughout.

Yeldersley Hall offers a choice of four delightful self-catering cottages, each with its own history and character.

Our Stable cottage is the former ‘stable lad’s’ lodgings with exposed beams and many other original features. Here we have retained the distinctive character whilst adding a touch of luxury and modern day convenience to provide a space that has a special warmth and charm.

Finally, our impressive 5-star two-bedroom East Wing accommodation delivers a true sense of country house living. These are rooms of grand proportions, with specially selected antique furniture and original period features, such as elegant plaster cornices and handsome fireplaces.
